Identifying culturally sensitive distance education for adults working in communities
Shelia Douglas, International Specialist Skills Institute in conversation with Niki Davis, University of Canterbury Professor of e-Learning and President of DEANZ, will discuss Shelia’s findings after one week in New Zealand where she has been visiting the University of Canterbury e-Learning Lab and talking with polytechnics and health workers in the region. Shelia has an ISS Institute Skills Victoria Fellowship. DEANZ and the UC e-Learning Lab are keen to support her in this important research. They will discuss this question: What is best practice for educating age care and disabilities workers at a distance in Australia and New Zealand, including those in indigenous and remote communities where English is additional language?
Please come into this free webinar with your suggestions and questions and/or email Shelia directly on email@example.com.
The recorded webinar will become accessible to DEANZ members on the DEANZ web site; DEANZ individual membership is only $60.
