Cambridge goes online

University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education has ventured into the online learning world.
The first set of courses begins in June 2012, with subjects including philosophy, ancient history, psychology and forensic science. Further sessions are planned for September and October.
On Wednesday they said “We are delighted to announce our new programme of online courses, now available for online booking. These short, intensive courses give you access to world-class learning led by Cambridge experts – wherever you are in the world.”

Free online Cambridge course for English teachers

Experts from the University of Cambridge are offering English teachers a free online language awareness course as part of a new initiative to raise teaching standards worldwide.
The course will be available through ‘Cambridge English Teacher’, a new online community for English language teachers developed by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and Cambridge University Press.
