Hőskor. Az internet kora. | Online learning: the challenge

Via Scoop.itThe eLearning Site
This is the first article in a series about learning and teaching online. The very first question we have to answer is not technical. It is not about what broadcasting software or what training material we use. It is all about how you can grab and keep the attention of people for 40 hours over a very restricted channel, the internet. This channel is so lame we can compare live online learning to simply watching videos. No personal contact, no feed back, no 3D trainer, nothing just a video(stream). From now on I use the term “video” instead of “live online training” not because these are the same or interchangeable but because the similarities of experience student receive. And it is shorter to write down the word “video”, too.   Our Take: Read the article and rise to the challenge
