MOTIVTIONAL FACTORS OF USING eLEARNING SERVICES IN GREECE

ABSTRACT
Universities in Greece, trying to keep up with the developments of technology and to respond to the new demands of economy and society, have adopted information and communication systems that improve the quality of their offered services. Although, not even one Greek university exists that offers online undergraduate degrees. The objective of this research is to reveal student’s perceptions about an online undergraduate degree through analyzing the motivational factors that would make them prefer an online program. In order to achieve the objectives of the research questionnaires were administrated to students of two major Greek universities that have faculties of business, economics and management-marketing. Through these questionnaires the factors that mainly motivate people to choose an online undergraduate program were found.
